Sophie Lagayette is a fully trained and qualified Attorney and Counselor-at-Law, in good standing with the French Bar and who practises principally French business law. She holds a number of first degrees in French law (notably the 'Maîtrise en Droit des Affaires' and the 'Diplôme d'Etudes Juridiques appliquées II') as well as a post graduate degree ('DESS Droit du Commerce International') all conferred upon her by the University of Paris.  She also attended University in Scotland and holds an LLM granted by the University of Glasgow. Sophie is fully bilingual in French and English and after her University studies in Glasgow, she spent eight years in Scotland, from 2001 to 2009, working as a lawyer in two Scottish law practices. Sophie also lectured at the University of Strathclyde from 2005 to 2007. She joined Triplet & Associés in 2009 and works as a principal associate with Sylvie Bailleul specialising in construction law and commercial litigation generally, notably matters involving 'judicial experts' and mainly acting for non-French clients. Sophie is of course able to correspond in legal and business English and regularly acts for US and UK companies which have either instigated litigation or been drawn into contentious proceedings in France.

Sylvie Bailleul is a fully trained and qualified French Attorney and Counselor-at-Law, in good standing with the French Bar and practising French business law primarily as a litigator. She has a first degree as well as two post-graduate degrees in French law (Maitrise en Droit - 1974; DES en Droit Public - 1975; DEUC de Droit Communautaire - 1994) granted by the University of Lille. She subsequently attended the Douai Appellate Court District Bar School and was called to the French Bar in 1983. She is a very experienced and well regarded French commercial litigator, particularly in matters involving 'judicial experts' and fully entitled to appear before Courts throughout the whole of France. She appears regularly in Paris and for example in Courts in the southern part of France; mainly acting for non-French clients. She is able to correspond in legal and business English and regularly acts for US and UK companies which have either instigated litigation or been drawn into contentious proceedings in France. She is today Senior Partner and Head of Litigation of Triplet & Associés.
